- Disposable diapers/pads
- Food products
Requires Management Approval
- Large appliances
- Automobiles
- Real estate
Donations We Are Unable to Accept
- Computer CPUs (or any computer/electronic equipment that contains memory)
- Electric and/or kerosene heaters
- Flammable items (fireworks, oxygen tanks, etc.)
- Hair dryers
- Personal hygiene appliances
- Pornographic materials (any item containing offensive and/or inappropriate slogans, literature, recordings, photographs or drawings)
- Prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including vitamins and herbs
- Personally-recorded videos, cassette tapes, CDs or DVDs
- Window blinds and curtain rods with drawstrings
Infant’s and Children’s Items We Are Unable to Accept
In response to Consumer Product Safety Commission recalls of children’s furniture, toys and accessories, we are unable to accept the following:
- Accordion-style doorway gates
- Bean bag chairs with zippers (filled with tiny Styrofoam pellets)
- Bunk beds car seats and infant carriers
- Children’s clothing with drawstrings
- Cribs
- Playpens and/or play yards
- Toddler walkers or exersaucers
- Toys or furniture with netting or mesh materials
- Toy chests with hinged lids
