For the second year in a row, Bridgestone HosePower donated holiday wreaths to Haven’s Custead Hospice Care Center.

An equipment supplier located in Orange Park, Bridgestone HosePower participates in charitable acts throughout the year and loves to help Haven families during the holiday season. They bring more than 30 beautifully decorated wreaths to hang on patient doors and throughout the care center.

“We like to do outreach with Haven Hospice to provide support for families,” said Bridgestone HosePower Marketing Manager Stephenie Paras. “I’m proud to be part of such a giving corporation and we’re happy to spread a little joy during the holiday season.”

Haven’s services are personally meaningful to some of the Bridgestone HosePower staff, including Wanda Fields, the company’s director of marketing and inside sales. “My family has been a recipient of Haven’s services three times, so I know that the organization does a lot to help others,” she said. “I remember what it’s like to be ‘that’ family losing a loved one. I know what they feel like. If we can give back to them and let them pick out a wreath to enjoy or take home as a memory, hopefully that helps them know that people care and they’re not alone.”

Haven staff are continually grateful for the community’s support, Orange Park Patient Care Manager Rebecca Rosano said. “We are thankful for the outpouring of compassion for our patients and families from this business in our community.”
