Stefanie Lord, M.D.

Executive Medical Director

Dr. Lord is a board-certified internist who joined the Haven Medical Group in September 2014. She cared for patients at North Florida Regional Medical Center for 17 years and last held the position of director of the Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic for Nephrology Associates of North Central Florida.

Also during her time with North Florida Regional Medical Center, she served on the Quality Assurance Committee and as chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Her professional activities at North Florida Regional Medical Center also include chief of staff (1999-2000), vice chief of staff (1998-1999) and chief of the Department of Medicine (1996-1997).

Dr. Lord earned her medical degree at the University of Florida in 1988 as well as a bachelor of science in microbiology.

Leanne Artigas, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Artigas is a board certified internal medicine physician who joined Haven as an Associate Medical Director in 2018. Prior to Haven, she was an Associate Medical Director at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Florida. Her previous clinical experience includes Assistant Clinical Professor at Vanderbilt University and Associate Staff Physician at Cleveland Clinic, where she completed her residency in internal medicine.

Dr. Artigas graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. She then went on to earn her medical degree in 2004 from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Artigas is fluent in Spanish.

Geraldine S. Bichier, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Prior to joining the Haven Medical Group in February 2008, Dr. Bichier held the position of assistant medical director at the Center for Clinical Trials Research at the University of Florida where she was intimately involved in the screening and study of volunteers while ensuring the safety of subjects and interpreting clinical data.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. Dr. Bichier was a fellow in nephrology at the University of Florida, completed her residency in internal medicine at UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, California, and she served patients in a nephrology and internal medicine practice at the Valley Nephrology Medical Group in Fresno, California.

Previously, she was a registrar in cardiology, nephrology, neurology, gastroenterology and pulmonology for several hospitals in the United Kingdom.

More about Dr. Bichier: Some of Dr. Bichier’s interests include gardening and horseback riding. During her free time she also enjoys exploring Payne’s Prarie in the Gainesville area.

Tiffany Massey, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Massey is a board-certified physician who joined Haven in 2018. Prior to working with Haven, she worked at Baptist Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida as a hospitalist. Dr. Massey earned her Bachelor  of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Florida in 1998. After working as an occupational therapist for seven years, she earned her Medical Doctor degree at St. Matthews University School of Medicine, where she served as an elected representative for the Florida Academy of Physicians and served as Student Government Class President.

Shayna Rich, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Rich completed a Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville in 2017. She earned her medical degree and a PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2011, and completed a Residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida in 2016. Dr. Rich is an affiliated assistant professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and she has previously served as a Clinical Faculty Member at Michigan State University and an Instructor at Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.

She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) and the American Society of Radiation Oncology, for whom she serves on the Guidelines Subcommittee. She was recently named a Research Scholar by AAHPM and continues to pursue research about the appropriate use of palliative radiation therapy. She has also received multiple awards for her research in geriatrics and palliative care.

Kristin Scott, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Prior to joining Haven Medical Group as Associate Medical Director in April 2018, Dr. Scott completed neurology residency as well as hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is board-certified in both neurology and hospice and palliative medicine. Before joining the Haven team she worked with palliative care patients in the home and hospital setting.

She has published articles in the Journal of Palliative Medicine, Northeast Florida Medicine, and Neurology. In 2012, she received the Mayo Clinic Above and Beyond Award. Her volunteer work includes outreach clinics, a domestic violence shelter, and a medical mission trip.

She earned her medical degree in 2010 from Indiana University, where she previously earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with highest distinction. From 2002-2006, she used her psychology degree to serve people with developmental disabilities by assisting them in the acquisition and refining of behavioral, practical, and social skills so that they were able to participate more fully in the community.

Charles Suggs III, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Suggs is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine board-certified physician with a decade of experience in the specialty. Prior to coming to Haven Medical Group in March 2018, Dr. Suggs served as a Medical Director at Gulfside Hospice and Pasco Palliative Care. In 2016, he presented the findings of his study “Measuring the Impact and Value of Palliative Care Referrals to Hospice” at the Center to Advance Palliative Care’s annual meeting. Prior to entering the field of hospice/palliative medicine, Dr. Suggs practiced gynecologic oncology for 27 years. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1973 and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University in 1969.

Ellen Laura Talos, M.D., HMDC

Associate Medical Director

Prior to joining the Haven Medical Group in June 2011, Dr. Talos had her own private practice in family medicine at the Putnam Community Medical Center. She holds a certification as a hospice medical director and is currently an affiliated clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

In 2009, Dr. Talos was named 2009 Resident Teacher of the Year at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and in 2008, she was the recipient of the Beaumont Hospital SEMMES/Resident of the Year Award.

Dr. Talos has served as a volunteer physician at the Gary Berstein Community Health Center and was a volunteer research assistant at Grady Hospital Emory School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care and the Putnam Community Medical Society. She earned her medical degree at St. Christopher’s College of Medicine in Dakar, Senegal (Luton-England Campus) in 2006.

Patrick F. Woloszyn, M.D.

Associate Medical Director

Prior to joining the Haven Medical Group in June 2014, Dr. Woloszyn provided outpatient, family practice care and medical oversight for public health concerns as the Suwannee County Health Department Medical Director for 20 years.

Prior to his position at the Suwannee County Health Department, he was a medical consultant for Quality Care Assurance from 1994 to 1995 where he provided consultation to long-term care facilities, conducted risk management reviews and assisted in legal case preparations. For eight years, he served as a long-term care physician at the Texas Department of Health.

In 1978, Dr. Woloszyn earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1985.

Shirley Aldrich, ARNP

Shirley joined Haven Medical Group in 2012. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in 2004 in addition to a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida in 2000.

Cynthia L. Boucher, MSN, ANP-BC

Before joining Haven, Cindy was the clinical coordinator and ARNP for the Hepatitis C treatment program at the University of Florida Hepatology Clinic. She also served as an associate professor of nursing in the Santa Fe College ASN program for nearly 10 years. During her tenure, her focus was on medical, surgical and acute care. She taught clinical for ASN students on a cardiac step-down unit. She continues to precept ARNP students from the University of Florida and University of Southern Alabama.

More about Cindy: Cindy enjoys spending time with her two children on trips to Walt Disney World, the beach and the mountains. Her hobbies include crocheting, gardening and cooking.

Danielle DiGennaro, MSN, ANP-BC

Immediately prior to joining to Haven, Danielle focused on home palliative care as a nurse practitioner for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Fremont, CA. At the beginning of her career, Danielle spent 7 years (5 as an RN and 2 as an NP) practicing inpatient cardiology at Duke University Medical Center. Her focus was advanced heart failure.

More about Danielle: Danielle enjoys biking with her toddler and visiting child-friendly events in north central Florida. Danielle also enjoys knitting in her spare time.

Joni Donahoo, DNP, ANP-BC

Prior to joining Haven, Joni was a nurse practitioner at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Colorado. Joni brings over 10 years’ experience as a nurse practitioner to Haven, including hospice experience at TRU Community Care. She earned her DNP (Doctorate of Nursing Practice) from the University of Colorado and thoroughout her career she has also worked at CENTURA Health Physician Group, University of Colorado Health and Kaiser Permanente.

Kinsley Giebeig, ARNP, FNP-C

Prior to joining Haven, Kinsley was a registered nurse at Lake City Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, after working almost 3 years at Shands at the University of Florida in the Trauma/Vascular Intensive Care Unit. She earned her MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) at the University of South Alabama where she graduated with a dual degree (AGACNP/FNP).

More about Kinsley: In her spare time, Kinsley enjoys going to the movies, watching Florida Gator football, and going to the beach or river with her friends and family.

Autumn McBeth, MSN, FNP

Prior to joining Haven, Autumn was a nursing supervisor and staffing coordinator at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Florida in May 2014. With more than 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, Autumn has a wealth of hospice experience and has worked at Coram CVS Specialty Infusion Services, Mental Health Resource Center and Orange Park Medical Center.

Kathleen A. Russell, MSN, ANP-BC, ACHPN

ARNP Manager

Prior to joining Haven, Kathleen worked as a staff registered nurse at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Florida Hospital HospiceCare of Ormond and St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama.

More about Kathleen: Kathleen likes to enjoy the beauty of nature with her granddaughters Lilyanne and Anna. She also enjoys dancing, swimming, cooking, baking, gardening and reading.

El Agathe Tembeng, MSN, ARNP-BC

Previously, El Agathe was an ARNP at My Home Doctor and a rounding nurse practitioner at Fish Memorial and Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida. An adjunct nursing instructor at Bamenda University of Science and Technology and fluent in the French language, she earned her master’s degree at South University in Savannah, Georgia.

Amanda Trespalacios, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C, CCRN

Amanda earned her master’s of science in nursing at the University of South Florida, and she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  In her previous position as a hospital liaison with Haven, she was a clinical liaison for patients, families and referral sources. She also provided education to patients and families as well as facilitated the admissions process.

More about Amanda: Amanda enjoys any activity that includes water and her pets. On weekends, she browses local farmers’ markets and teaching Sunday School at her local church.
